To Evan,

You are the most precious gift that God has given me. You bring more joy to my life than you will ever know. Your smile is contagious. You have filled our home with so much happiness. Thank you for making Mother's Day 2009 so special. Thanks for making me a mommy. I love you so much and praise the Lord for you each and every day. Home Recovering

Early Wednesday morning, I woke up with severe pain in my belly. James took me to the ER to find that my gallbladder was full of stones. My gallbladder was removed Wednesday afternoon. I am now home recovering, but still having some pain. Thank goodness for pain meds! We had to spend our first night away from Evan. I missed him so much. Thank goodness it was just for one night. I hope to be back to work soon. It is hard being cooped up inside.

Easter Morning

Evan's Easter Basket was filled to the max. Since he couldn't have candy yet, we had to make sure he had lots of goodies! It was so much fun!!

Evan's First Easter Egg Hunt

Evan's first Easter Egg Hunt was at our church. We had a great time, but missed Daddy (he had to work). Evan was so much fun. He was content after we collected the first egg. He just wanted to sit and try to eat it!! Next year, I am sure we will be running to try to catch up with him.

An Afternoon with Friends

My friend Laura Beth and I took our little ones to have pictures made together. Evan was only concerned with the straw and flowers around him and Henry refused to let us take his picture. We got one shot of Evan and Ella together and none of Evan and Henry. I thought they turned out pretty well if I do say so myself!!!
