Here He Is!!!

Here are some pictures of the little man. We saw Dr. Ashurst today and were able to get some great shots of Evan. He cooperated so well! James seems to think he has my nose and lips. We will see when he gets here. I am sure he will change a lot over the next several weeks. We have moved my appointments to once every two weeks, things are going as planned. The next several weekends are filled with fun things to do in preparation of Evan's arrival. Keep watching the webpage, I hope to be able to update often.

Pre-natal Visit with Dr. Trumbull

We had our pre-natal visit with our pediatrician, Dr. Trumbull last Friday. We both really like him and I think that he will help James and me along the way as new parents. It is important to find someone who you can trust with your most precious gift. One decision down....25 million to go!!!!

Update on Evan!

We went back to see Dr. Ashurst on Friday and he said that Evan's heartbeat sounded great. We (ok, I) had a lot of questions to ask this time. I guess since the great date is drawing closer I just want to make sure that we are as prepared as we can be. Dr. Ashurst sees no reason why I should not be able to work up to the delivery-which is only about 11 weeks away!!!!
Evan's room is painted and his daddy has done a beautiful job of putting his bed and bookshelf together. As soon as it is complete, I will post pictures. Pete can already tell that change is about to hit hard. He will go to Evan's door and then just go back and forth between me in the living room and the nursery. He seems a little sad already. Last night he went missing for a little while and when I went to look for him, he was in Evan's room on the floor sleeping. It was so sweet. I hope he will not be too jealous, but a protective "big brother!"
We can not thank each of you enough for the prayers that you have sent on our behalf throughout this pregnancy. They have been felt and are very much appreciated. Please continue to pray that the remainder weeks will remain seizure free and that Evan will continue to grow and develop as he should.
We love each of you!

For Those Wondering...

For those of you wondering what we chose for his bedding, below is a picture! His walls are painted the beautiful green you see in the quilt. His furniture was ordered and should be here next week. As soon as the nursery is complete, I will post a picture for you to see.
Enjoy!!!!

Here He Is.....
It has been a while since this picture was taken, but here is Baby Talley at 19 weeks (he is now 24 weeks). He has grown quite a bit from the last picture that was posted, wouldn't you say??? Please continue to pray that he will grow and develop as he should and that I would remain seizure free.
Don't you think he is the cutest baby boy you have ever laid your eyes on? We do!!!!
He still does not have a name...Any suggestions???

GREAT NEWS!!!!

We had our monthly visit with Dr. Ashurst today and things went beautifully. I had the glucose tolerance screen today and passed (barely, but that is ok)!!!!! The plan is to have one more visit in 4 weeks and then we will move to 3 weeks between visits (for 2 visits) then to bi-weekly!
We only have about 16 weeks to go, can you believe it?!?!
I have gained a little more weight, more than I would have liked, but I guess that means the little man is growing like he should. We can hardly wait for him to be with us for us to hug, kiss and love on! We will keep you posted! Thanks for the prayers that have been sent up on our behalf, they have truly been felt!
~Love to you all~

Answered Prayers

Thank you all for lifting up Mr. Joe in your prayers. His appointment with the oncologist went well yesterday. The cancer has not spread into the bone (thank the Lord) so the plan for treatment is shots to lower his levels and then radiation. Please pray that this will be the solution to his problems. I will keep you posted.
