Saturday, we took Evan to the park. We had lunch and then we played for a while. It was so much fun. He LOVES to be outside (gets that from his daddy)!! He did not want to leave and fussed at us...ok, screamed at us as we took him back to the car. As soon as we got home, he conked out. He had played so hard. I can't wait for some warmer weather so we can make the park a weekly outing. Enjoy the pictures!
He thinks he is so big...
Loving the outdoors!
Look Mama! No Hands!!
Eating lunch (no real picnic food, we stopped by Hardees)
The little man who makes my heart melt...
It seems so hard to believe that Evan is already 18 months old. Time sure goes by quickly. Evan is learning more and more each and every day. He is now able to recognize people and call them by their chosen names (mommy, daddy, big daddy, nana, nanny, mimi and papa). He loves balls and his "big brother" Pete. He loves to eat his veggies, but is not so keen on meat. I guess I should be thankful. He is into everything and running to get everywhere. He loves to climb. He enjoys reading with me and watching Spongebob with his daddy. His smile lights up a room and his kisses melt my heart. His favorite word is "NO!" Thanks to Aunt Pam and Maci!

He has a gentle spirit, a love for others and a cute sense of humor. He makes me smile when he makes faces like his daddy and he tickles my heart when he sings "bye oh baby" with Nanny (this is a song she made up and has shared with all of the grands). He is a true joy!
It is my prayer that he will always know how much he is loved and that God has great plans for His life. I pray that He will always follow Christ and stand firm in his faith in Him. I never knew being a mom would be so great....maybe it is the baby boy I hold in my arms that makes it oh so special!!
