Evan's One Year Photos

Finally! We are back in business! Now, I should be able to catch everyone up with what all has been going on with us! These are some of the pictures from Evan's one year photo shoot. We actually did one-where he would not smile like he usually does, so our wonderful photographer met us earlier this month and took some additional shots. He did great that day. Of course, it was 30 degrees and I had him dressed in linen...oh, well! He didn't get sick and the pictures turned out great.

Evan is bringing more and more joy to our lives each and every day. I am not working right now, so I am enjoying being home with him. It has been so much fun watching his milestones develop. His little personality has really bloomed! He is such a ham. He loves to give hugs and kisses, which makes me a very happy mommy! His smile makes me melt and he knows it. Not only does he know it, he uses it!! He has learned early! haha

Beach Pictures

We had such a good time at the beach. Evan loved the sand...I think I got my wish for a beach baby! I am so excited for the summers to come as we return to make more memories with our little man. Enjoy the pics!

Don't know what the trouble is...

I have tried and tried to update the blog, but have had so much trouble. As soon as I can, I will post pictures of all that has been happening. Evan had his 1st birthday back in August and what fun we had. He is walking and in to everything. He is a climber, so I have to watch him at all times! He is learning more words and you can tell he is really paying attention to what we say and the tone we are using...which is kinda scary!! :) He is learning so much and his personality is precious!! I can't wait to get some pictures up so you all can see how much he has changed over the past several months.

James and I are doing well. Staying busy. More to come! We love you all! Please keep checking back, I will keep trying to post!

Trying to Update

I have been working on trying to update the page for some time. I am having real troubles. I will keep trying, there are so many new pictures I want to add. There are some from Evan's Baby Dedication, James' birthday, our anniversary and of course the Big 1st Birthday celebration. Please keep checking back. I hope the problem is resolved soon!!

Long Time, No Post

Sorry for the long time between posts, things have been busy around the Talley house! For some reason our computer has been weird tonight, so I will try to post again tomorrow night and catch everyone up. This picture is from Evan's Baby Dedication. We had such a great time with family and friends. More details to come. Also, check back for Evan's 1st beach trip pictures! We had a great time, Evan LOVED the beach! It is so hard to believe that our little man will be one in just a couple of weeks. Planning is in full swing.

Happy Birthday America!!

We celebrated the 4th with friends for a grilled hamburger/ hotdog dinner and then fireworks over the Coosa River. I thought Evan would scream when the fireworks began, but he really seemed to enjoy them. We had a wonderful day together!

Growing Older...Does it Get Easier???

To start our wonderful weekend together, James and Evan took me out to eat Friday night for my birthday. I chose Outback and it was SSSOOO good! Thanks James and Evan for making my night so special! You are two of the most special and important men in my life. I can't imagine growing older with anyone other than you guys! I love you so very much!!!

I know you all remember back in the day when taking pictures with your "special someone" in the car....well, James and I had not taken one since we were dating, so we decided Friday night was as good a time as any!! haha

Evan helped me open my present. He and James bought me Wii Fit. I had been saying I wanted one. Now, I have to put it to use. I am sure it is gonna kick my hind end!!!

James was singing "Happy Birthday" to me in this ridiculously loud, off key voice and this is what Evan thought about it....

Henry Turns 2!

On June 27th, we celebrated Henry's 2nd birthday with food, fun and WATER!! We had a great time in the sun! Thanks Henry for inviting us to your birthday party. We hope you had as much fun as we did! We love you!!!

Enjoying his first ever cake...it was chocolate and oh so good! His daddy slipped him a little ice cream while I was not looking. He loved it all so much, he had a bit of a fit when it was all gone.

While shopping in Target several weeks ago, James found this Robot gadget that he said "Evan needed." We got it and Evan LOVES it. It will play music and dance so Evan has to dance a long with it. He likes to chase it around the living room. Pete is scared to death of this thing. It brings lots of laughter to the Talley home!!

10 months old already!!

It is so hard to believe that Evan will be 10 months old in 2 days!! It seems like just yesterday we found out we were expecting!! His birthday supplies came in the mail yesterday! WOW! Almost 1!!! These pictures are from his 9 month shoot. Leslie did a great job (as always). She always captures the faces I love the most! Evan did a great job and the weather was beautiful! My little man is growing too fast! Daddy was busy working in the yard, but Evan and I were able to get a couple of shots together. ENJOY!!
